Warmer water for a happy belly

If you’ve been reading my previous posts you know that I’ve been pushing water big time. Here’s another quick tip.

Drink your water at room temperature or warmer. You can even drink it hot with a  squeeze of lemon, which is especially nice on chilly days.

Cold or ice water will put out your metabolic fire and decrease the potency of your digestive juices. Not helpful. Especially during the holidays when we might be eating more treats that are harder to break down.

Warmer water will aid in digestion and is really beneficial for those that tend to get constipated.
